The LA ROQUERIE Farmhouse Table

The Table

The Table at La Roquerie

This dining experience can’t be described—it has to be experienced.

Here, ChefBastien de Changycooks in tune with the seasons, the vegetable garden, and what the neighboring farms have provided that morning. There’s no menu. Just a single menu, created upon returning from the market and designed to be shared.

We gather around the large farmhouse table—sometimes four, ten, or fourteen of us. After an appetizer, the starters or main courses are served in the center of the table or on individual plates, depending on the chef’s inspiration at the moment. We come to dine, but above all to spend time together.

The table is reserved for Farmhouse guests and is available on Friday evenings, by reservation only.

Soil-to-Plate

In tune with life.

Here, nature sets the pace. The seasons call the shots, and the vegetable garden and local Normandy farmers provide their harvest. Chef Bastien de Changy creates dishes around these ingredients, using the very best that the region has to offer at that moment.

Around the Fire
A firepit in the garden, a fireplace in the kitchen, and wood-fired cooking.
Fire brings people together, warms them, and sets the rhythm for both evenings and dishes.

Nothing goes to waste
Cooking the whole product. Preserving when the season is bountiful. Creating and transforming rather than throwing away. A cuisine that pays close attention to each ingredient and to those who produce it.
