Founder · Creator of Atmospheres
There are places we create.
And others we reveal.
After several years working at exceptional houses, from Hermès to LVMH, Aurélie Debiève retains her eye for detail, her appreciation for materials, and a certain standard of excellence. Today, she chooses to express these qualities through a freer approach to designing spaces and hosting guests.
It was in Normandy that
La Roquerie first took shape, with
La Roquerie Cottage—a home designed to be lived in rather than merely admired, opened alongside her professional career.
Very quickly, the place transcended its original purpose. On social media, a world began to take shape, an atmosphere was shared, and a community of more than 75,000 people gathered around a certain vision of hospitality—one that is more personal, more sensitive, and more deeply felt.
The Cottage changed hands, but La Roquerie didn’t end there. It found a new home in Normandy—one that’s more spacious and more open to the Normandy countryside. A new property and a new chapter, a new freedom to bring her vision to life.
With the Farmhouse, the story expands and takes root. In this new home, the Normandy countryside isn’t just a backdrop but a living presence: it streams in through the windows, setting the pace for meals, the seasons, and the way we welcome guests. People come here less to escape than to live differently, for a few days, in close harmony with simple, beautiful, and authentic things.
Here, luxury isn’t flaunted. It’s sensed in a material, a light, a carefully chosen object, a prepared meal, or an eye for the details that aren’t immediately visible.
From one home to another, La Roquerie transcends its individual locations.
It has become a world unto itself, at the intersection of hospitality, interior design, and image consulting. There, Aurélie envisions spaces—for herself and for others—creating atmospheres and experiences all guided by the same vision: to craft homes that are deeply rooted in their essence, where nothing is ostentatious and where every detail contributes to a larger story.
