.01 -- Manifesto

Not at all like a hotel, but every bit a refuge.

La Roquerie Farmhouse was born out of a simple yet challenging desire: to slow down.
In the heart of the Pays d’Auge, sheltered from the prying eyes and noise of the world, we envisioned this place
not as a hotel, but as a living family home.

Here, we listen to the rain pattering against the windowpanes with a cup of tea in hand. We watch the mist
rise over the pond. You relax by the fire, a book in hand, as time seems to stand still.

.02 -- The Experience

Four Pillars
01

The Home Away From Home

A family spirit. A house whose doors have always remained open. The luxury of feeling at home, away from home.

L’esprit de famille. Une maison dont les portes sont restées ouvertes. Le luxe de se sentir chez soi, ailleurs.

02

French Roots, British Spirit

Anglo-Norman chic. Norman textures meet British boldness: rich velvets, vintage-inspired patterns and absolute comfort.

Le chic anglo-normand. Textures normandes et audace anglaise : velours profonds, motifs, pièces chinées, confort absolu.

03

Soil to Plate

Truth on the plate. From garden to table, local cuisine brought to life by Bastien de Changy, our chef.

La vérité dans l’assiette. Du jardin à la table, une cuisine du terroir portée par le chef Bastien de Changy.

04

Cashmere & Wellies

The luxury of raw authenticity. Wellies in the mud in the morning, a soft bathrobe in the evening. The elegance of what is real.

Le luxe de l’authenticité brute. Les bottes dans la boue le matin, une serviette moelleuse et un bain chaud le soir. L’élégance du vrai.

The Table

Chef Bastien de Changy creates his dishes upon returning from the market, using whatever the garden or local farms have yielded that morning. A single menu—no set menu—designed to be shared.

Reserved for guests staying at the inn. We sit in groups of seven, ten, or sometimes fourteen around the large farmhouse table.

The Meetings

Events designed to learn, create, and share in a different way. Cooking, gardening, the art of entertaining, wellness, or creative skills: each gathering is an invitation to experience La Roquerie through a specific theme, for a special moment.
